No. You can generate a protocol and use most features without signing up. Creating a free account lets you save your protocol, track changes over time, join the community, and access your dashboard. Anonymous usage works but is subject to lower daily usage limits since we have no way to prevent abuse without identity.

Yes, the core features are free. Free accounts can generate protocols, rate their current stack, run lab analysis, and use the IQ Assistant within daily usage limits. Pro plans unlock higher limits, priority access, and additional features. See the Pro section below for details.

When you submit your health goals, experience level, age, biological sex, and any compounds you already use, our system cross-references your profile against a compound database built from NIH, PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and OpenFDA. Claude, the underlying AI model, then selects compounds with evidence matching your goals, checks for known interactions, and produces a protocol with dosing, timing, and administration guidance. Every compound included has a cited reason for its inclusion.

Rate My Stack lets you enter any compounds you are currently taking and get an AI-generated analysis of your stack. The analysis covers evidence strength for each compound, potential synergies, redundancies, interaction flags, and an overall assessment. It is useful whether you built your stack with BioStackIQ or put it together yourself.

The IQ Assistant is a conversational AI available on your dashboard. You can ask it anything about your protocol, a specific compound, dosing questions, or general biohacking topics. It has access to the same research database and responds with cited, evidence-aware answers. It is not a general-purpose chatbot, it is trained to stay on topic and flag uncertainty rather than speculate.

Lab Analysis lets you upload your blood panel or lab results and receive an AI interpretation of the values in the context of your protocol and goals. The AI flags values outside optimal ranges, explains what they may indicate, and notes where your current stack might be relevant. This feature does not diagnose conditions. It is a research aid for understanding your biomarkers.

BioStackIQ uses Claude, a paid AI model, to power its features. To keep the free tier sustainable, daily usage limits apply to all accounts. If you hit your limit, the modal that appears will show when your limit resets, typically at midnight UTC. Anonymous users have lower limits than free accounts, and Pro users have significantly higher limits.

If multiple requests are sent in rapid succession, a short temporary block is applied. This is a bot protection measure and is not a penalty on your account. Authenticated users are released after 15 minutes. Anonymous users are released after 60 minutes. Normal usage never triggers this.

Creating a free account gives you higher limits than anonymous use. Upgrading to Pro gives you the highest available limits. If you are on Pro and regularly hitting your limits, contact us and we will review your situation.

We store your account information (email, profile), the protocols you generate and save, any community posts or comments you make, and usage records for rate limiting purposes. We do not sell your data to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Lab results you upload for analysis are processed to generate your report and are not retained long-term as raw files. The AI-generated analysis summary is stored with your account so you can refer back to it. If you delete your account, all associated data including analysis records is removed.

Yes. You can request full account deletion from your dashboard settings or by contacting us at the address on our Contact page. All personal data, protocols, and analysis records associated with your account will be permanently removed within 30 days of the request.

The community is a space where users share their protocols, discuss research, ask questions, and compare notes on their stacks. It is not a general health forum. Posts are expected to be grounded in research or personal experience with compounds. Sharing anecdote is welcome but should be labeled as such.

Yes. Posts that contain medical claims without citation, promote specific vendors, or violate community guidelines are removed. We do not moderate based on opinion. You can report content that violates guidelines using the flag option on any post.

BioStackIQ does not manufacture or stock products. The shop section links to vetted third-party suppliers that meet our sourcing standards. We may earn a commission on purchases made through those links, which helps fund the free tier of the platform. Our compound recommendations are made independently of any commercial relationships.

We review supplier COAs (certificates of analysis), third-party testing practices, and manufacturing transparency before listing a supplier. We do not list vendors based on commission rate alone. If a supplier fails to maintain quality standards, they are removed. If you have concerns about a listed supplier, contact us.

Pro plans include significantly higher daily limits across all AI features, priority processing, access to advanced protocol options, and early access to new features as they launch. Pro is the right choice if you are using BioStackIQ regularly and running into free-tier limits.

Yes. Pro is billed monthly and you can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. There are no long-term contracts and no cancellation fees.
